Urological Oncology
A special focus of my work is urological oncology, including the diagnosis and treatment of prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancer. During my specialist training, I developed a strong personal interest in this field and gained extensive experience in the care of patients with urological cancers.
A diagnosis of urological cancer is often a life-changing event for patients and their families and is frequently associated with fear and uncertainty. During this challenging time, I provide compassionate guidance through all stages of treatment and remain a trusted point of contact throughout the process.
Together, we develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to your medical condition, personal needs, and life circumstances. In detailed consultations, I explain the available treatment options as well as their advantages and disadvantages. I place great importance on ensuring that you are well informed and actively involved in all decisions regarding your care.
I am also happy to provide a second opinion for oncological diagnoses.
Please do not hesitate to schedule an appointment — I look forward to supporting you with expertise and personal care throughout your journey
Vasectomy – permanent contraception for men
Die dauerhafte Empfängnisverhütung für den Mann
Vasectomy is a minor surgical procedure for permanent contraception. During the procedure, the vas deferens are severed on both sides under local anesthesia, preventing sperm from traveling from the testes into the ejaculate.
Vasectomy has no effect on testosterone production, sexual performance, or libido. Orgasm usually remains unchanged; only the volume of the ejaculate is slightly reduced.
After the procedure
Mild pain, swelling, or bruising may occur, but these can usually be well managed with pain medication and cooling.
The skin sutures dissolve on their own after about 2–3 weeks. Most men are able to resume normal activities after approximately one week.
Strenuous physical activity, sports, sauna or thermal spa visits, as well as full baths should be avoided for 1–2 weeks.
Important considerations before making a decision.
Vasectomy is a permanent method of contraception and should only be performed if you are certain that you do not wish to have (any more) children.
Restoration of the vas deferens is generally possible, but success rates are limited.
Vasectomy is an elective procedure and is therefore not covered by health insurance.
The cost of the preliminary consultation (€170) is credited toward the cost of the procedure.
Female Urology – Because Urology Is Not Only for Men
Weil Urologie nicht nur Männersache ist
Urology is still often associated primarily with male conditions. However, many urological problems affect women just as frequently—and in some cases even more often. In my practice, I offer a comprehensive spectrum of female urology services and provide a respectful space for concerns that are often misunderstood or insufficiently addressed.
I treat, among other conditions, urinary incontinence, urgency symptoms, and recurrent urinary tract infections. The evaluation of incontinence is comprehensive and tailored to the individual patient. Through close collaboration with the Pelvic Floor Center at the Landesklinikum Korneuburg, interdisciplinary diagnostics and care are possible, ensuring the best possible therapy for each patient.
Another important issue is urinary tract infections after menopause, which can significantly affect many women. In addition to targeted treatment, I place great emphasis on preventive measures and on achieving a long-term improvement in quality of life.
As a self-employed urologist and a member of MedInUnity, gender-specific medicine is a particular priority for me. Women differ in anatomy, hormonal balance, and disease progression—these differences are consciously taken into account in diagnosis and treatment.
My goal is to provide you with competent, respectful, and discreet care and to support you individually throughout your journey.
